권기식 한중도시우호협회장이 6일 오후 제주한라대학교 컨벤션홀에서 열린 녹수청산 생태환경 제주포럼에서 축사를 했다.
이날 행사는 제주도와 중국 하이난성이 생태환경 협력을 위해 공동으로 주최했으며 주제주 중국총영사관(총영사 왕루신)이 후원했다.
이날 포럼에는 원희룡 제주특별자치도지사와 니창 중국 하이난성 부성장 등이 화상으로 축사를 하고, 왕루신 주제주 중국 총영사와 좌남수 제주특별자치도의회 의장, 양문석 제주상공회의소 회장 등이 참석해 축사를 했다.
권기식 회장은 축사에서 "제주도와 하이난성은 유사한 자연조건과 발전 목표를 갖고 있는 공통점에 기반해 생태환경 보호와 녹색경제 발전 등의 분야에서 협력하고 상생할 수 있을 것"이라며 "코로나19 이후 한중 양국 지방정부간 협력모델로 발전하기 바란다"고 말했다.
주제발표 및 토론에서는 츠푸린 중국 하이난 개혁발전연구원장과 김태윤 제주연구원 석좌연구위원 등 8명의 전문가들이 참여해 생태환경을 주제로 발표와 토론을 벌였다.

Kwon Ki-sik, chairman of the Korea-China Urban Friendship Association, gave a congratulatory speech at the Jeju Forum on Noksu Cheongsan Ecological Environment held at the Convention Hall of Halla University in Jeju on the afternoon of the 6th.
The event was jointly hosted by Jeju Island and Hainan Province, China, for ecological and environmental cooperation, and sponsored by the Chinese Consulate General (Consulate General Wang Lu-sin).
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor Won Hee-ryong and China's Vice Minister of Hainan Province Niqiang gave congratulatory speeches, while Chinese Consul General Wang Lu-shin, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Chairman Zhuang Nam-soo and Jeju Chamber of Commerce Chairman Yang Moon-seok attended the forum.
"Jeju Island and Hainan Province will be able to cooperate and co-exist in areas such as ecological environment protection and green economic development based on similar natural conditions and goals," Kwon Ki-sik said in a congratulatory speech.
In the topic presentation and discussion, eight experts, including Tspurin, head of China's Hainan Institute for Reform and Development, and Kim Tae-yoon, chair researcher at the Jeju Institute, participated in the presentation and discussion on the ecological environment.
