권기식 한중(韓中) 도시우호협회 회장은 4일 전남 완도군 전복 생산자협회(회장 김동석)와 협회 전남 지회(지회장 유영찬) 초청으로 완도군 노화도 전복 양식장을 방문했다. 권기식 회장은 이날 오후 노화도 전복 양식장을 둘러본 뒤 양식 어민들과 중국 수출 방안에 대해 협의했다. 전복 생산자협회는 한중 도시우호협회에 완도 전복의 중국 수출을 도와줄 것을 요청했다.
권기식 회장은 "청정 지역에서 생산된 고품질 완도 전복의 중국 수출을 위해 협력 하겠다"고 말했다. 완도군은 국내 전복 생산의 70%를 차지하고 있으며, 전복 생산자협회에는 양식어민 3천여명이 가입해 있다.

Discussion on export of'abalone' produced in Wando-gun to China

On the 4th, Kwon Ki-sik, chairman of the Korea-China Urban Friendship Association, visited the Aging Island Abalone Farm in Wando-gun on the 4th at the invitation of the Jeonnam Wando County Abalone Producers Association (Chairman Kim Dong-seok) and the Jeonnam Branch of the Association (Chairman Yoo Young-chan). Chairman Kwon Ki-sik consulted with fishermen about export plans to China after visiting the Aging Island abalone farm this afternoon. The Abalone Producers Association asked the Korea-China Urban Friendship Association to help export Wando abalone to China.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik said, "We will cooperate for the export of high-quality Wando abalone produced in the clean region to China." Wando-gun accounts for 70% of the domestic abalone production, and about 3,000 farmed fishermen are affiliated with the Abalone Producers Association.
